What we collect

What you give us: your email address and (optionally) first name at checkout; answers you type into the Outline Builder; messages and chapter feedback you send; the time you pick for a session.
Payment: card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep Stripe's reference to your saved card and its last four digits so you can add offers with one click.
Your orders and access: what you bought, when, and refund status.
Reading activity in the book: which chapter you're on, how far you scrolled, active reading time, which sections and offers you saw, and 👍/👎 feedback. We use it to show your progress, send a reminder if you get stuck, and improve the book. We don't record keystrokes or mouse movements.
Visit details: the page you arrived on, ad campaign tags in the link (UTM tags, Facebook click id), browser type and IP address, used for security and to measure which ads work.

Cookies

We use a few cookies: one keeps you signed in to the reader, one ties your checkout to the thanks page for two hours, one remembers how you arrived (for ad measurement), and Meta's cookies (_fbp, _fbc) when you allow ad measurement. No cookies are sold.

Who we share it with

Stripe: payments and fraud prevention.
Cloudflare: hosting, security checks (Turnstile) and sending our emails.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram): to measure and improve our ads we send page visits and purchase events, with your email hashed (scrambled one way) so Meta can match it without us sending it in plain text.
SendFox: if you buy, your email and first name may be added to our newsletter list; every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

We don't sell your personal information.

Your choices

Do Not Sell or Share: the link at the bottom of the home page turns off ad measurement for your browser.
Emails: every reminder email has an unsubscribe link. Receipts and links you ask for still arrive.
Access, correction, deletion: email us and we'll send you your data, fix it, or delete it (we keep order records the law requires us to keep).

How long we keep it

Order records: as long as tax law requires. Detailed reading activity: 12 months (after that only anonymous chapter totals remain). Everything else: while you have access to your purchase, or until you ask us to delete it.

Security

Reading links are long random codes stored only in scrambled form, pages are served over HTTPS, and admin access requires a verified sign-in.

Children

This site is for adults and not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes; significant changes are announced by email to buyers.
